Canadian National Railways 4-8-2 “Mountain” type U-1-b #6033 on southbound train #46, a package express
train from North Bay, at Allandale, Ontario. Leaning out the cab window of the #6033 is Locomotive Engineer
Edward Ayers as he slowly spots the train at the water plug in preparation to take water. While stopped they will
also change crews so the outbound crew (carrying their lunch buckets) is shown walking towards the locomotive
and water plug.

The #6033 was built by Canadian Locomotive Company in 1924 and scrapped at London, Ontario on October 31,
1961.
